Cleaning paver patio

Post by ENVY23 » April 21st, 2015, 8:35 pm

Anyone have suggestions for cleaning a paver patio? Nothing major, mostly just stains from leaves, etc. I can't use the pressure washer because it'll blow the sand out from between the joints. I figured maybe there's some sort of cleaner(concrete cleaner maybe?) that I can just spray on, lightly brush, and rinse off. Any suggestions?

I think simple green makes a concrete cleaner but I haven't tried it. It's worth a shot and if it doesn't work, you may have to try something stronger like muriatic acid...but be careful with that stuff. Simply wet the surface well, brush on your cleaning mixture, rinse off.

CLR takes off hard water stains. But that may be overkill in your situation. Read the label if you do use it.
