Retaining wall

Post by Itscold » October 21st, 2016, 10:37 am

I have a slope off my drive way Into the neighbors yard. It is about 15ft wide, and has a drop of about 3 and a half feet. I would like to have a retaining wall built and have my drive way widened there. It's about 40 ft long. Is a landscaper the correct person to call for this? It will need to be well built to hold the earth and weight if a car in it. Has anyone had something similar to this built? I built a small wall myself but this is a job for a pro I believe. Thanks

Landscaper. Not all of them do that type of work, but that's a good direction. Decent chance if they have a website it would show examples of retaining walls similar to what you are looking for.

I'd call a masonry business.

Look up hardscaping on Yelp and do your homework before proceeding.

a landscaper could do it but finding a company that does that specifically would be better IMO

that is going to cost a small fortune
