Bare dirt spots in lawn

Post by Mowarda » April 11th, 2017, 2:47 pm

This problem (as seen in picture) is new this year. The neighbors yard looks 100% fine. There is not dog and no gas leak. What do you thin could be causing this? Thanks!

Did you use Salt (Ice Melter) on the driveway this Winter? That has several markings of Salt/Sodium damage...

Welcome to the site.

How was this area last year, prior to the winter? Struggling? Only seeing bare dirt leads me to think this started last year and not this one. If it was not struggling last year, then all the dead grass should still be there if it started this year (ie. snow mold or salt damage).
