Triangle Approach

Post by mdseverin » May 3rd, 2018, 10:22 am

I'm going to be spraying my lawn with Bayer Weed Killer this weekend. That will knock out most weeds as intedned, but I KNOW I also have Nutsedge. Can I apply both products on the same day or do I need to wait?

What other product? So you're blanket spraying rather than spot spraying?

Next time, consider Spectracide® Weed Stop® for Lawns plus Crabgrass Killer which adds sulfentrazone for tackling yellow nutsedge.

The plan was to do a blanket spray with Bayer because I have a bottle left from last year. I was then going to do a treatment of Ortho Nutsedge in the areas I see the nutsedge. I'm not sure if I can spray both products on the same area or if I need to wait.

I personally wouldn't hesitate to apply sulfentrazone after applying a 2,4-D threeway, but then again, I don't blanket spray.

How many days should I wait before I can mow after doing a blanket spray of Bayer?

You definelty need to read the label, but I have seen and use "2 days before cutting" and "2 days after cutting" for herbicides when ever I can.
