Hi All,
I'm a first time home/lawn owner and was caught off guard by weeds overtaking my lawn this spring. I managed to kill most of it off quickly with round up, and then seeded with topsoil & compost as well as fertilize. To my surprise, my lawn grew back and looks great. So I have new found confidence in my ability to grow grass from seed. My problem is that there are still several bare patches where I pulled out clover recently, as well as some thinner areas that I seeded later and sprouted by didn't fill in as thick as other areas.
My question is, do I attempt to reseed these areas again, despite our daytime highs being between 28-32 degrees celsius? Our evenings have been cooler, around 15 degrees. If not, what should I do with these areas until the fall. I'm afraid of weeds taking over in these areas.
Your advice is much appreciated.

I would wait another month until the summer heat breaks. Then seed all you want. Do it early so you can see the results in time to do it again if the grass is still not dense enough.
