How much watering in does fungicide require?

Post by southern-ct-4 » May 27th, 2020, 3:51 pm

There's hardly been any rain here in southern ct lately (and every time the forecast looks good for rain it ends up missing me almost completely).

In any case, I want to put down some scotts disease ex, as it looked like some good rain was coming (total of .5 over 2 days) but now it's down under .5 across 3 days, with only that peak of blue indicating 75% chance of rain (the rest is more like 25% to 50% and, given the way things have been lately, it'll be even less.)

Should I wait to apply it? I don't have irrigation. The label only says to water it in, but doesn't say with how much water...

Thanks.

The thing I didn’t like about disease-ex is that there is no guidance about watering it in. I remember reading you needed to do it, but nothing from Scott’s on that.

northeastlawn I had the same issue with the Scotts site about watering it in but I finally found that....
You can find all your answers and more on the Lowes website.
They sell Disease ex and Scotts answers all the questions there.
They say it does not need to be watered in "immediately". However it does need water to activate it.....
They suggest 30 minutes of watering about 1/2".
They also answer questions about the temp's and if you can apply other things at the same time.
