Re: Need help Identifying this weed
I thought I had posted "looks like a member of the Speedwell family", but I don't see my post.
Speedwells are pretty tough, and controls don't always work well this time of year - it's near the end of its life cycle. I generally put down Triclopyr, and follow up with a 3-way (2,4D/Dicamba/MCPP) 7 days later. To do that, an example would be Ortho's Clover, Chickweed and Oxalis Killer, and a week later hit again with Weed-B-Gon. It may take a repeat application.

Is it worth it to put anything down now? I did an application of a product with 2,4,D and Dicamba, not sure if it had MCPP (Spectricide Weed Stop for Lawns). This was about 8 days ago as I’m trying the triangle approach.

Only you can make the decision about whether to deal with it now.

Re: Need help Identifying this weed
I had someone ID my weed as Speedwell: 2,4D/Dicamba/MCPP (Ortho WGB) took out some but not all the weed and I can't apply any more this season; so far Triclopyr 8% (Ortho CCO) has been ineffective.
I'm going to see if Quinclorac 18.92% will take care of it.
