I have a farmer friend who is going to give me 250 lbs. of Urea to put down this year. He has a large pile inside his barn. I am wandering if anyone know about how much a 5 gallon bucket of the stuff would weigh? I will get an exact weight once I get home so I know exactly how much I am putting down but I need to know about how many buckets I need to pickup before I head to his house.

That's a 5 gallon bucket. It's about 30 lbs of urea.

Thank you I appreciate it. I am going to get some in the morning, this will help me plan on transporting it.

I took a set of scales with me and the buckets I had needed to be about 2 inches from the top to weigh 30 pounds.
