Timing for fungicide
I was out in the yard today and noticed some unusually brown or straw colored patches. I was checking to see if was zoysia because I do have a patch of that I want to get rid of on the far side of the driveway. Anyway, these smaller patches have black roots that sort of remind me of pythium blight. I do have some azoxystrobin but am wondering if I should wait a few weeks or do the first spray now then follow up in 28 days. The grass is still dormant here but forsythia should be blooming in about two weeks.

Take a picture of the patches - it may be Snow Mold. If it is, the grass very often recovers after a bit of ugliness.

Re: Timing for fungicide
Thank you Andy, as always. Pretty soon I’ll be crawling out of the ocean to breath air and be able to also post pictures. You helped me once before on this and I can’t seem to find/recall how to link a picture. Sorry to ask again but can you please refresh my memory or point me to the directions on the site? Many thanks.
