Sprayed 3 gallons of Bifen IT around 2 acres of my property to help with mosquitos. They were really bad this year. Anyone else have problems this year?

Patched holes left by a tree crew with topsoil and seeded with Scotts KBG because it's what I could find on short notice. Watered.

Dropped half the October feeding in EcoScraps. It didn't flow well, hence the half...

Re: 2021: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Mowed another 20% of the gardens into it. I don't count it as a feeding (although technically it's 4-1-2 by dry weight), but it's a lot of organic mass...

Ran my little orbit sled type sprinkler here and there all day long. It does a good job as long as I have good water pressure.

Re: 2021: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Dropped 19-19-19 yesterday, Should have time to winterize with urea yet after the stall.
I also found a company with an Aeravator to do about a 1/4 of my lawn that was extremely compacted and REALLY bumpy. I'm not entirely sure on the results yet, I'll give it a week and report back.

Re: 2021: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
I grew a lawn. Ok maybe it took more than a day
I am a new member here, recommended by a member on a tractor forum. Our front lawn was a 1/2 acre of weeds. Not touched in 30 years. I finally decided to replace it but after getting pricing from contractors decided to do it myself.
I have a 38hp Kubota and a box blade. I ended up buying a rotary tiller and drag harrow. My 1st stop was to the CT Agricultural Experimental Station where I dropped off soil samples. The manager there then recommended the type of seeds based on how much sun there was and how much maintenance time I wanted to put in after. They were great.
I use glyphosate on the entire lawn. It took 2 applications to kill these scalloped weeds.
box blading:
I removed many buckets full of rocks. The box blade was great in harvesting them and really ripping the lawn. Based on the soil analysis I used the box to spread 2000lbs of limestone and 200lbs of fertilizer. Then it was time to till
The tiller did an awesome job in pulverizing the soil
I spread almost 100lbs of seed with a drop seeder and then used a drag harrow to cover the seed with a small amount of soil

Re: 2021: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
My new lawn - finished (well I h=guess that's never) - 2nd part of my post
Now its 3 weeks after seeding. There are some spots that are coming in slowly. I blame that on the weight of the tractor compacting the soil. They are slowing filling in though
It was a great learning / still learning project. I only wish I had found this site before I started. From what I've seen there is a great amount of knowledge base here.

For the soil compaction issues search for BLSC (short for bestlawn soil conditioner).

Re: 2021: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
I went out in the dark a little bit ago to drop some urea. I saw that there is a 50% chance of rain at 3am. A fanatical person would have done it at 3am in the rain.

Opened up my new (to me) bottle of "Sonata" biofungicide (similar to Serenade, but targets different diseases) and started spraying at the 3oz per thousand rate.

Re: 2021: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Fed it with 3 bags of EcoScraps (the other half of the October feeding) and spot-sprayed a few weeds. And found a clump of P. annua I'd missed. I got out the mini-nukes and launched them from orbit...
