best source/price for Tenacity?

I read that the best price for Tenacity was at EH Griffith, but it now appears to be $79.30 (even after I login).

Does anyone know where to get it for the ~$58 price?

I bought some for that price at the local Southern States Co-op last August. I have not been there in several months to check current price.

John Deere landscape has always sold Tenacity for $54. That was still the case as recently as two months ago. I haven't been there since then.

My neighbor is a turf specialist etc - when I told him I was spraying tenacity - his eyes got HUGE. Then he goes "wait, did you buy one of those little bottles?"

"Yeah."

And to OP - it's quite worth it if you're doing any sort of renovation - it made mine a great experience and saved my bacon on a nice crop of spurge early on.

Any chance that price quote is from an online source Andy? If so I'd like to get the website of where you can get it please. I've got plenty for myself, but have a friend that's trying to buy some right now. Amazon at $73.28 is about as cheap as I could find for him.

There were two sellers on Amazon around $68-$69, but they were "plus shipping". One was the $73.28 guy, which was the same thing with "free shipping". Free indeed.

There is a place called "Lawn and Pest Control Supply" selling it for $69.75 with free shipping. I don't have a link available at the moment.

After reading the many success stories here with applying Tenacity at seeding of a renovation on bare ground, I've decided to order some Tenacity (mesotrione) to apply at seed-down to try to prevent weed competition as much as possible.

Just an update to this thread that as of today, the price at Lawn and Pest Control Supply for an 8-ounce bottle of Tenacity is $61.50 with free shipping.

I hope it arrives before my planned seed-down date of 23 August!

In fact I saw it at Home Depot the other day but saw it at Lowe's months ago which was the first time I became aware of it. I'm helping a neighbor do a renovation this fall and that's what we plan on using. Has anybody used it?

I have and will again this year. I feel it worked well. I had very little weed pressure.
