Mowed low-input area (2.75 in). Watered seed on side front. Put down Dimension 0-0-7 on rest of side front (up to marker) and main front (3 lbs/K of 0.15%). Put down seed (Northern mix I made myself) on the new area (after spraying Roundup and letting it dry). Put down paper hydroseeding mulch, and set up 3 spray heads on a timer.

I'm still due for Tenacity and PGR on the side front overseed area, Tenacity on the other side, and Tenacity spot sprays on the entire yard. Also, I guess I need to water in the pre-M if it doesn't rain for a while, and then next weekend pre-M the rest of the yard that's due for it.

Those pictures are phenomenal.

Today I applied Primo. The little ones don't get to help with that.
Thanks. He loves working in the yard. He doesn't get it yet why he can't come out if I'm spot spraying or putting down a pre m.

It's a great way to spend time with your kids. And instill the value of hard work.

Planted 23 Shenandoah Switch Grass at the border of the problem neighbor after widening the bed and finally getting to mulch it. Had to move one irrigation head in due to widening the bed which for some reason gave me some trouble.

Was beat but wanted to cut and realized quickly that I should have raised the deck as the mower was bogging a bit but was too late.

We haven't had rain since Tuesday morning and none in forecast until the weekend so I may run irrigation tomorrow morning.

I turned on the sprinkler system that I installed last year - no problems! Phew.

I adjusted a few heads and have my Irrigation Caddy set to water tomorrow morning. Plenty of sunshine and heat this week to help get the kbg growing.

She was almost in tears talking to me and didn't believe it was cat tail and tried to argue with me. she said cat tails live in moist wet dirt! Not lawns!! SMDH Lol. Her lawn is one of the worst in the neighborhood.

The problem is people don't ask questions. They prefer to ASSume things.

Fired up irrigation system. Ready for first run at 2am tomorrow. Surprisingly hot and dry here for mid-April. Grass needs the deep watering. Everything along the house is growing like a weed. Darker, longer, thicker. Neat to watch the first-year lawn evolve. Should be a fun and challenging growing season.

I'm not sure I'm at that point yet, but I just cut the lawn and got a good sweat on. It is April, right?

Lots of top growth since my last cut on Wednesday. :good:

One last picture of the NoMix, Elite KBG/TTTF transition line. Nuked the last of the lawn today, one final seeding and I'll have the entire lawn completed.

Mowed for the first time this year. Spot sprayed weeds (and grass) growing in landscaped areas. Felt good to get back out there, so of course I had to log back in to ATY since I have been away since last fall. :yahoo:

Pruned 17 rose bushes. Planted 2 Love & Peace after seeing them in a thread from awhile back with JG and Bernstem - thought they looked great. I'm zone 6 and I think they are only zone 7 recommended and up but figured I'd see how they do anyway for the summer.

Total of 20 rose bushes now.

Yesterday, left work early because my 2.5g jug of Serenade was delivered and left by the front door in full sun. Temps were high yesterday, so, I didn't want to risk the jug getting hot. If I left at normal time, the box would have been sitting in full sun for 3 hrs. Was I nuts?

Also, since I was home early I decide to power wash the mower. LOL.

Irrigation system turned up, and installed indicator pop-ups for the drips in the wife's gardens.

Round IV of Velocity, and I think the tide is turning in my favor. For now.

Over the weekend I got the irrigation turned on, and I watered in some Seven bug killer. Stupid moles.

I also edged a tree, and fixed all the grass/rock edges that were bothering me. Mulched the rest of the leaves, didn't mow the grass quite yet. Im probably gonna give my first mow later this week.
