Last night I watered about 15000 sqft of my 36000 sqft lawn by moving spriklers. Took me over 6 hours. Need to get an irrigation once my shrub beds are set in place. Probably won't be able to keep up with the watering this summer.

Hopefully I'll get some well timed thunder storms.

Glypho'd a ~600 SF area that will be the future veggie garden. Bought the lumber and irrigation components for said garden.

I ordered a couple extra pots of the ornamental grasses I planted that I am going to find a place to plant if this work day ever ends.

Slow going, especially around the borders. I had a big cardboard box that I was using as a edge, and I *think* it caught the over and wind drawn spray. We'll see in a few days.

Got the Milorganite spread. Still a learning curve with the new Earthway 2070 spreader. I played with it between settings 12 and 15 and it seemed about right somewhere in between there. Two bags at 72# in that thing is all I want to push. Man am I out of shape! I think my wife rolled her eyes when I said I was getting tired.

I should've bought this instead:

Round IV of Velocity, and I think the tide is turning in my favor. For now.
Oze what are you going after with Velocity? I just laid down 1st app of Certainty bc my 2 year old reno had a Triv outbreak

Finally sprayed the clover. Last year I was focused on nimblewill and ignored the clover, this year I realized it spread too far. Thankfully its not too hard to get rid of.

Wis,

I have hopes that Velocity is at least the beginning of the answer to my prayer to manage poa without harming my mostly PR lawn. From what I can tell, I have both triv and annua, some in large continental masses, and some sprinkled in among my good grass. It seemed to appear out of nowhere last spring, I was late in attacking it, and didn't do a fall pre-emerge because of my overseed project. I am paying the price this year. :(

Mowed for the first time this year last night. And put down my Lesco 13-0-5 Dimension PreM.

Ah you have PR. Im thinking my mistake last spring was mistaking some Triv for PA. Hard for me to tell without seedheads. Couple that with a abnormally warm winter season and I was doomed this spring.

6th mow of the season. That's not bad, but it was only 3 days since I last cut. Ready for the Primo to kick in any time now!

Mowed and trimmed the backyard.

Now I'm watching my neighbor do things to her lawn. She's the one telling people my lawn is all chems lol. I am puzzled as to what she is doing because she pushed a spreader all around the yard dumping a lot of something. Then stopped and continued to shovel it out with her hands. Now she is pulling weeds. I might go spray kelp help using my backpack sprayer and wearing goggles/gloves etc lol

Spray some milk while wearing a respirator mask, then remove the mask and take a big drink, give her a wink, and put your mask back on like a boss.

Why is a neighbor gossiping to others about what you use on your lawn? Some people have way too much time on their hands.

Enjoyed the lawn with the kiddos.

Second year and you can tell the color difference close up.
