but corporate put the kibosh on our plans, citing "liability concerns". I'm still scratching my head about that one.
What if you slip and hurt yourself while taking out "their garbage"?
I'm just waiting for someone to ruin it for everyone after they sue Starbucks.

Good one, HLG! Mrs oze and I were trying to come up with other good reasons for their concerns. What if was an Evil Doer, who had plans on using the coffee grounds to smother people to death with?

sitting in my home office waiting for this day to end while watching a guy and his son cut my neighbors lawn across the street and instead of removing the marker flags for the water and gas lines (which havent been needed for over a month now but anyway) the guy tries to manuever around them with his Z eventually taking out all but two one of which his son just took out with the trimmer
the disregard for shooting clippings all over the property next to the one they are cutting by so called landscapers like this always amazes me...the lawn next to this one which was just cut on friday is now covered with cut up leaves...yes leaves bc its the first cut of the year for this guys lawn. Can you tell im not a fan

Yes, and I've been away since Thursday so my lawn will be totally overgrown.

Picked up ~200 lbs of Mag-I-Cal. Thinking about throwing down some urea on the front. It's awake, but moving slowly. Thinking it needs a little push since this is the first spring after the reno.

The first year of my reno, I was dropping 100lbs of Oceangro every 2 weeks during Spring.

I put down 3 bags of OG last week, but it's all slow release, so that's why I was thinking urea this week to kickstart it a little. I put some lime down just about 2 weeks ago, so I wanted to wait a bit as to avoid that lime/nitrogen off gassing thing.

We had a lull in the rain, we got 0.5" last night, some more on tap Wednesday night. I put down 20# BSF with ~1 Tbsp 20 Mule Soap, all over about 1,000sf. I kind of guess the amounts on the front hell strips, but probably 25% of that. The front is in tough shape due to the Tenacity, it can use all the help it can get.
Looking forward to some 60deg days this coming weekend, hopefully the grass starts taking off.

As an experiment, I did not spray the front/side NoMix and I am mowing that.
Plus, I was able to finish some sides projects that the wife wanted. So, happy wife = happy life.

Next round of Velocity applied. Risked life and limb by applying 2 5-gallon buckets of coffee grounds from the local coffee shop to the hell strip.
