Mowed front (except overseed area which is growing out), side, and back at 3.25in. Put down 1.5 lb/K of Dimension 0-0-7 0.15% on garage side overseed area. That was 1 lb. Any less would have been impossible to spread.
Did the first half (0.5 lb/K N) of Spring Nitrogen on low-input area, consisting of 2 lbs/K of 12-24-10 and 3 lbs/K of Sustane 8-2-4. Also put down over 6 lbs of Epsom salt there.
On the main front: 3.5 lbs/K of 8-2-4 and 4.4 lbs/K of Milorganite 5-2-0.
Side front: 4.4 lbs/K of Milorganite. Still have to put down the Sustane next time.
Also still have to do both on the side and back. Have not even thought about SOP yet.
Then I'll repeat the whole thing in late June, but with micros mixed in.

Just found out I sprayed my Bay State and micros yesterday (so the micros stick to the Bay State) with Witch Hazel not water.

Sprayed CCO and 2-4d before the temperatures become out of tolerance. Looking at 90 and thick by weekend.

Mowed front at 1.125 again. Milo a tad heavier than bag rate. Sprayed phosphites at 2oz per k and added a dash of humic acid in the mix.

Sprayed another app of propiconazole (PATCHPRO). Dropped some Starter fert at 2 lbs per k. I really need to upgrade from my Scotts speedy green spreader! It was rough trying to do only 2 lbs per and it won't close all the way after making a pass.

got out in yard early yesterday to cut, edge, and cut down my tulips before the big storm that was supposed to hit but didn't actually arrive until 7...quickly realized it's time to clean the gutters again

Also, note to self: issue my highest recommendation and request to Mrs. oze to order the mulch *before* planting the little baby annuals next time.

Re: 2016: What did you do to or on your lawn today?
it was brutal, def should have split it over two weekends but I thought since it was gravel that I could leave it there and work through it at a decent pace but my OCD wouldn't allow itoze wrote:Six TONS of gravel????? worst part was shoveling it and putting into wheelbarrow which I could only fill halfway due to the weight

Spot sprayed Velocity at half normal concentration. What a mess it makes of the lawn after a few sprays...but it's supposed to get rid of the Triv.
Got just under 2 inches of rain total yesterday.
