That best price match + 10% off came in real handy.

Finished unloading 33 bags of Milorganite.

Only Rona carries Milo in Edmonton (Canada) and I just checked availability on their website and there's only 28 bags available right now total from all the stores in Edmonton and 2 nearby cities that have it in stock (4 out of 7). And that's at $21 CAD! Woo hoo! :banghead: Good thing I have a 15% coupon applicable to the total order and just made a reservation for the 9 bags in the store in a nearby city. Apparently we have the best garbage disposal system (and sewage treatment I think) in Canada (and maybe North America) - apparently, not sure where I heard that..I wish we would make our own Milo...

My local Home Depot cashier, after holding up the garden center checkout area for over 10 minutes while he called someone-or-other on the phone, declared that "True Value is not a competitor of ours." :rotfl:

At Home Depot checkout at the customer service desk, not a regular lane.

I'm hoping this sale happens again this year. I got 12 bags last year delivered to my local True Value. It sold out very quickly.

I was just thinking about this today. Last year it seems like the sale started at the end of March. I picked up my 14 bags the first week of April. I will be upping my amount this year to 18 as I ran low towards the end of the summer.

I'll probably snag a few more than I did last year as well.

That's a great price! I'd snatch some up if we had any F&Fs around here but its not looking good. I had a gift card to HD I used to purchase 2 bags for my March application but otherwise I'm patiently waiting until Tru Value starts their sale.

I picked up 8 bags today. :aikido: Plan on picking up more next week, since the sale is on until the 12th.
My only problem? I don't have a lot of space for storage. :rotfl: I guess that's on my to do list. Clear space out in the garage.

Milorganite is on sale once again at Farm & Fleet. $6.99 through March 26th.
Menards has it on sale for $6.99, and then an extra $0.77 cents off with a mail-in rebate for a total of $6.22.
That is also on sale until March 26th, at least at my store.

The local Menards here in MN has it for $5.33/bag AR through 3/18.
