Re: 1/2 Circle on Lawn
Are those shrooms having a meeting by sitting in a circle?

Maybe you have some kind of treasure hidden in the direction that your lawn is trying to tell you?

Re: 1/2 Circle on Lawn
Maybe. It is interesting. Things seem to look far worse from a photo than looking at it in person.
I notice this effect whether photographing a problem area or a healthy lawn in general.

I agree with the notion it's aliens. Or the worst crop circle on record.

Persistent but slowly improving I think. May not be completely gone until next year. I had a two sq ft spot a couple of yrs ago where I pulled out a dead arborvitae.
By the of the yr it had closed to about 2 inches.

Re: 1/2 Circle on Lawn
Buckeye - planning any plan of attack on it? Any research/insight you've found since?
I have a full ring in my front yard... crazy perfect circle. not quite as pronounced now that its greening up. Don't remember it showing any signs last fall, so it's weird to be there come spring.
I had considered sprinkling some Actinovate powder on it...straight Serenade soak...... lol.... or a heavy dose of cracked corn.... dose of sugar to trigger a biologic shift/breakdown... I'll likely go a little heavier with corn in that area... and just keep an eye on it.
