Footprints of death
There are white footprints appearing on my lawn where I brought the recycling bins to the curb from out back.
Last time I had to do it there was snow. I fear damage has been done as the lawn was awake from dormancy already.

Re: Footprints of death
Happens all the time on my front lawn because the gas meter reader cuts across instead of going down to the sidewalk.
No worries, it'll grow out.

Re: Footprints of death
This is actually the reason I moved my trash cans into the garage rather than next to the side door of the garage. It'll grow back just fine.

Re: Footprints of death
Yeah I usually keep them in the driveway all winter, but then it was nice and warm out so i put them out back, then in a freak snow storm I had to bring them back. I can't win this year.
I haven't been able to put pre-em down yet. Every day I can it's been insanely windy. Days I am busy it's been calm..
