Ya. Ok so maybe we should tone down a bit. He/She could turn out to be a new member soon. We really don't know what happened. Unlike the video, where it's clear he didn't read the label at all.

I know exactly what happened, I asked what she sprayed on her dandelions when I walked by when I saw them turn chocolate brown with a metallic sheen on it and so did the grass surrounding it. she said "Round up" she must have used a heavy dose, because I've nuked my backyard with 41% glyphosate and never saw the grass turn chocolate brown before it died.LoneRanger wrote:Ya. Re: Neighbor "Spot-Sprayed" Her Dandelions
Several years ago someone told the story of their neighbor throwing "fists full of fertilizer". I still laugh at that mental image. Now I picture this lady pouring round-up directly out of the bottle onto small weed patches.
However, I'm not sure how much desirable grass she had to begin with.

Re: Neighbor "Spot-Sprayed" Her Dandelions
that guy is a complete and utter moron. to spend $250 for herbicide is the first mistake, the second is not reading the label. how in the world did he ever know the mixing rate?TimmyG wrote:...or you risk doing what this guy did in 2012:Lawn_dreamer wrote:Yeah, this is why we read labels..

And he blames the label/company. I bet if they made different labels, they would have to pay a designer to do so, and then they would have to raise the price, and then he would complain about the price.
^ mostly sarcasm.
But seriously. The only person he has to blame is himself on that one.

I have dreams once in awhile that I wake up and my lawn looks like this after a jealous neighbor decided to get their revenge.
