Show us your Lawn
I have searched high and low, and failed to come up with a cool season topic where everyone shows pics of their personal lawns. I'd love to see the best pic of yours! If there's already a post like this, ignore this one. I'd start with mine, but it's completely dead for a few more weeks.

Very few spots get more than a few hours of sun - mostly the shade travels around the yard as the day progresses.

Re: Show us your Lawn
If you look past the patches of rust and the numerous weeds (Tenacity regimen starts next week), here is my front yard which was seeded 54-weeks ago yesterday:
It seems like sprout-and-pout lasted until just last month, but thanks to the ST6 plan it is starting to show some promise.
I am in a new development and my neighbor was seeded 1-week before me. His yard is typical. Here is where my hell-strip meets his:
Thanks ST6!

Re: Show us your Lawn
I'm going to try and give a visual.
Picture a reno prep....
You know the ones that the lawn has been scalped, raked and ready for seed down?
That's what my lawn looks like.
The problem is......
I'm not doing a reno.
This summer has been brutal.
I'm hoping for some recovery if the temps finally cool down.
ETA
I should mention that my sister finally lost her battle with cancer in June. She fought long and hard 2 1/2 yrs beyond her original prognosis. So to be honest, my heart wasn't into my yard this year.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It seems as though everyone has someone in their life that has had cancer. God bless you and your yard looks a hell of a lot better than mine!fun4me2 wrote:I should mention that my sister finally lost her battle with cancer in June. Well stated and keeps things in perspective. You won't always have your family but lawns are just grass.Pennstater2005 wrote:I'm very sorry for your loss.
