Walmart Milorganite Sale

Post by dabeevm25 » August 6th, 2016, 6:38 am

I got an alert yesterday from Slickdeals that some Walmarts were marking down Milo to $5. When I checked online price was still $12, but I figured I would check out the store anyways. They ended up having 20 bags of Milo for $5/bag. Needless to say, I bought all of that.

Not sure that every Walmart is marking down Milo, but it might worth looking into if you need some for the fall!

They also have other stuff on clearance. It seems like they are getting rid of their inventory for the season. Scott's fungus control -$7 and Scott green max (good source iron) - $9.

Yes the wife is not trilled with the Milo perfume in the garage. I havent told her that it will be there until next year.

How long can you store milorganite in a shed or garage? Can you store it over the winter? Just curious

Picked up 10 bags today. Guy said they might mark it down even more next week. They are trying to clear out the garden center.

Our Wal-Mart's have been out all year. I just price match fleet farms price at lowes. It was on sale for 5.99. Usually 12.99 there at lowes. I got 8 bags for 49 on my lowes card. Saved me 58$. I store my extra bags for the season wrapped in a tarp behind my garage so not to stink up the inside. I will have to check some other Wal-Mart's to see if they have the same deal as you guys.

Was $5 at mine and a large supply. Apparently they have an outdoor shelf area, I never knew that. But I was looking for other stuff and the other stuff wasn't on sale yet..

I was at a local Walmart last night, they had about 15 unopened bags. They also had a handful of ~85% full bags that were spilling all over. Someone brought over a manager and I asked if I could get a discount on the damaged bags. He said "Wow this shit stinks, I should pay you a dollar per bag to get it all out of here". I ended up paying $1 per bag for 19 bags.
