got home early on thursday and since it was nice out and my lawn needed it decided to cut and edge the lawn which was then immediately covered by snow on friday with more coming tomorrow...lawn looks pretty good today though even with the colder temps, the tulips not so much as they all have completely flopped over

i have a grassy weed growing in all the areas where the township added soil after replacing the curb and some sidewalk last year...not sure what it is yet but wont be able to attack anytime soon.

T, have you done your pre-m yet?

I'm debating if I should spray today as the lawn is clear from all the snow we had last week. But more snow coming... suppose to get 18-24" tomorrow. :banghead:

I shoveled today. lol... My lawn is covered in 6" of snow at the moment. Hence, spending time on the phone attempting to find 0-0-50 fertilizer, and going over plans for my irrigation and fertilizer schedule.

I was just about to put down mulch and compost this week too. Guess that's on hold for a week or two.

Raked the lawn and dropped some KBG seed before the big storm.

No I haven't, thought about it on Thursday but ran out of daylight. I did regret it initially as I saw some Forsythia blooming but then again we are getting a foot of snow tomorrow so I'm at a loss.

Riverpilot, try to call farm places and not garden stores. A seed and feed or farm coop might be able to get it.

Also landscape shops, that's where I got mine. Just ask if it's pelletized or not. I got the super fine powder by accident not knowing it was an option. I guess the golf courses spray it instead of spread it lol

This past Sunday - my first time applying Prodiamine 65 WDG.
My first time using a e-sprayer.
Impressed with how easily both segments went.

Then it rained on Monday night into Tuesday AM.

Free watering in.

Strategically snowblowed 20+ inches of snow away from parts of the yard that tend to get very wet during the spring and also loaded up the south side yard with the majority of the snow. I want it to melt very quickly.

I'm waiting for the new snow to melt and freezing weather to go away so I can get going. Forsythia is in bloom, I feel so behind.

Was going to shovel out a section of the backyard so the dogs could go to the bathroom back there but realized the snow had iced over and we can walk on top of it without sinking in. Hopefully this melts soon..I have mowing to do!

Prodiamine sprayed on last year's reno, except the bare spots that need re-seeded.

Hi there, care to share link where you bought the e-sprayer from (link to product), I am planning to do my prodiamine treatment (6b) soon, and would love to see if the e-sprayer will make my life easier..

Best

Sharpened the mower blade, mowed low and edged today for first time. Lawn is looking good! Still some yellow but greening up fast.

Filled with topsoil about 30 posts holes from my fence I dug out. Seeded those spots with TTTF/KBG mix I had leftover from last year, top dressed with thin layer of compost, watered in. Will be interesting to see whether seed will germ on those fresh topsoil patches or if my preemergent from a few weeks ago with leech it's way in.

Gonna be 80 tomorrow. Everything's in bloom, spring is here!

You just need to keep the soil moist. My dog paws were still wet this afternoon, so I think you are ok for now.

Great Thanks. Weather seems to get little bit warm. I havent opened faucets yet. What time do you usually do that in Fishers. I am just worried about faucets because I know two people at work who forgot to close faucets during winter had issues with faucets cracking and flooding basements.
