Sets some limestone edging for a landscape bed. Showed my one and a half year old how to use and read a level and today he was busting my chops.

What is "7 C" of Borax??
I think it's cups. I looked back at the OP's soil test link, and it seems he has 37k to cover. 3 tbsp x 37 = 111 tbsp. 7 cups = 112 tbsp according to google
Yup, should have said 3Tbsp/K

It has been dry and windy the past week and with little to no rain in the forecast started watering the lawn. Very unusual for this time of year up here.

NWS three month precipitation outlook has Michigan as below average.

Just as a side note, they also say it's gonna be warmer than average for most of the lower 48 and Alaska this summer.

Applied 2lb/k each of TSP and SOP as well as 2.3 lb/k ammonium sulfate for a total of 1lb p and k and .5 lb nitrogen per 1000 sq feet to my backyard and immediately irrigated it in with .4-.5 inches of water using my inground sprinkler system. Grass was looking a little "tired" and needs a little boost to help it fill in (lots of holes from pulling out trivialis last fall and painting quack this year).

Put down Milorganite 5-4-0 with micros on side (missed Fall app). 1/4-lb/K of N.
Mowed non-wet majority of low-input area at 3.75 inches.
Transplanted some grass into the low-input area into bare spots.
Put down a touch of Milorganite on the bare/thin areas of low-input area.
Pulled up weeds (Oxalis) in mulch.

Sprayed Triv and some annua. Something interesting: on the upper back lawn, I hadn't mowed in about a month until recently, because it was still waking up. The Triv grew to about 8 inches. A couple days after cutting, I noticed the Triv seeding. Maybe it's a stress reaction from the herbicide and cutting, like what occurs with annua. Anyone know if Triv seeds are viable?

Mowed yesterday and applied fertilizer before a forecasted light rain. Big screw up! It was a light rain followed by a torrential downpour most of the morning. I'm uncertain how much runoff I had. Time will tell.

Haha g-man, i did the same thing. Put down a half rate of 12-12-12 yesterday after the mow. It rained so hard here this morning. In the 3 years i have lived at my house, It was the first time the yard had flooding. The water had soaked in or ran off into the streets by the afternoon though.

Dropped milo. Put down another application of Aerify plus. Should get another 2 or 3 applications of that before I run out.

I had some burned out sections of my fescue from Tenacity treatments this spring. Scratched them up to break Pre-M barrier, seeded and peat moss dressing.

Painted about 1/3 of the orchard grass with RU and dug up some annua.

I hate weeds

String trimming, raking up old clippings, and watering seed at grandfather's.

At home, mowed the now less-wet part of the low-input area at 3.75 in. Started mowing other parts back down to 3.25 in. Bit of trimming.

Forgot to sharpen my blade!

The Front Fall reno is really filling in nicely and getting quite thick in most areas. Spread more Milorganite on the front lawn after a good cut (3rd milo app this spring). Mowing twice a week now at 3".

Mixed up a gallon of BLSC and a gallon of Kelp Help. I plan to spray KH/BLSC combo this weekend. Grass is really taking off after the Urea app this weekend and the cooler evenings

Nice!

------------

I planted a boxwood hedge from cuttings, made some more rose bush cuttings, edged the sidewalks and beds.

Picked up quite a few twigs/limbs after we had a strong little storm blow through yesterday and edged along the sidewalk and driveway. Also, pulled some stray weeds in the flower beds.
