Finally got a now in, and it needed it. Then applied 19-19-19 @ 5.2lbs/K before the rain tonight.

I put down some Fame fungicide and my 2nd application of Dimension in the front yard. In the backyard I spot sprayed the few remaining weeds with some triclopyr.

Double mowed the whole yard. Pulled some bulbous bluegrass and hand applied some alfalfa pellets. The neighbors thought I was nuts before

Placed live trap with Apple pieces inside with hopes of catching one of the rabbits living under my deck. Contemplated mowing. Will likely do later today. Four days since last cut. Hoping to see some bleaching in my yard post tenacity app. Not seeing much if any since app three days ago.

Mowed. Lawn conditioner and kelp help.
Neighbor stopped me and stated he's looking into purchasing a motorized compost spreader. Stated I'd rent/use it if he does. :)

Spot sprayed triclopyr on clover. The triclopyr mix was from last fall so we'll see if it is effective, though I'll need another spray in 2 or 3 weeks anyway. Walked the shaded border area where I had Japanese stilt grass a couple of years ago. I noticed some in the neighbors yard but didn't see any in mine (knock on wood). Andy's multi year regime of fenoxaprop and dithiopyr seems to be doing the trick.

How long after tenacity app did bleaching occur? I'm wondering if my tenacity is even working.

It takes about 10 days before whitening occurs ( for me anyways). You don't think it working, then all of a sudden your lawn is white!!

Yesterday morning, watered main front for one hour per zone.

Today, mowed and trimmed at grandfather's. Noted some germination of the PR seed, despite not being watered in a week or so, and having 3 days of 90 or higher during that time.
------------
Put down Encap Lime on the back at 6 lbs/K. Went heavier on the area that had less of the new soil and more of the old.

Ready for rain.

Used WBG CCO to spot spray some camouflaged clovers in my otherwise green & thick lawn.
Sure love the mild spring weather around Central VA this year.

Know that the stress of 90° F & 55+ Humidity is right around the corner.

I walked the yard a day after my triclopyr application and the oxalis is very angry. :) The one small patch of clover isn't showing injury at 24 hours but I'm sure it will die too.

Next year I'll go ahead and use Speedzone as my herbicide of choice as it saves me the 2nd round of herbicide application. I went cheap this year, as I just don't have a lot of weeds, and thought I could get away with the generic 3-way instead of dropping $30 on speedzone. Lesson learned as I pretty much only had oxalis after the few rogue dandelions got nailed with the 3-way earlier in the Spring.

Nuked the front abandoned section of my yard. Its only about 400 sq ft, but its separated from the rest of the yard by the driveway. Its so infested with weeds I'm gonna have to nuke this section 4 of 5 times. I'm going to start watering it heavily to try and germinate as many weeds as possible to nuke 'em. Planning to reno it this fall.
