I'm in my fall regimen. Dropped 1lb/k Urea. Grass Gods were smiling upon me, rain began to fall half-way through!

I gave the lawn a cut. Trying to decide if I want to overseed or just push the Nitrogen this year.

Dropped HOC fro 4" to 3.5". Watering tonight and tmw as we have been a little dry. Hopefully the dry spots perk back up for urea next week

We're in a dry spell now.
Did more watering today, including main front and side to 1/2-inch.
Planted old 5-year-old Firecracker LS and KBG mix on the sod tray this evening. I wonder if any will germinate.

Mowed main front. Watered lower back and did catch can audit, and then swapped some nozzles out. Sprayed Serenade on lower back and some problems areas in upper back. Sprayed some PGR. Watered parts of side front with irrigation system and oscillating sprinkler.

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Yesterday afternoon put .5" down on the back yard. Early this morning the same for the front. Temps are starting to really cool here, I may be putting my HOC from 4" to 3.5" starting tomorrow. Urea next weekend!

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Mowed at 3.5" for the last time of the season. Tomorrow it's mow again at 3". Growing so fast I can't wait more than one day.
Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Mowed to 2.5", aerated, amended Black Kow compost, overseed Southern Belle tall fescue with hybrid bluegrass, put down starter fertilizer, and hand water to moisten soil. Rain is forecasted for early next week.

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Sprayed Velocity at 3g in 0.666 gallons of water, on the lower part of the side and a few parts of the main front. This is the last planned Velocity treatment of the "Spring" season. The side, which was heavily infested, and also suffered collateral damage, now almost looks lit was nuked, so a heavy KBG "overseed" is in the cards.

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Sprayed Prodiamine at 1lb/A rate front and back, ran the irrigation program 2x to water it in nice and good. Blanket sprayed a leftover tank mix of tenacity over the back yard where some Poa A had made it thru the summer, will follow up with that again in a week or so.

Finished mowing side front (did front hill 2 days ago). Mowed most of low-input area (except where watering).
Hand watered.
Added more TTTF to upper back (Firecracker SLS) and hell strips/front hill areas (Titanium II LS).
Watered nearest part of low-input area to 1/2-inch using oscillating sprinkler.

Lowered the deck to 3.5" for penultimate mow before overseeding next weekend.
Gotta bag clippings tomorrow after work...again.

Over the weekend I blanket sprayed 3 quarts of propacanizole on the turf and roses that had some black spot, dropped 40 lbs of urea, typical mowing etc.

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Well I lowered the HOC today and double cut it, then edged a bed and used the dirt and sod to fill in low spots. Added some seed with it. Found grubs while edging. I'll have to dig up some spots and check to see if it's an issue.

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Still hand-watering. Reset sprinklers on upper back overseed to once per day at 11AM, and dropped a bit more seed. Filling in with manual cycles as needed.
Still hand-watering front areas. Also hand-watered top 1/3 of front hill (which I overseeded a year ago) and some edges.
Added more seed (Bullseye TTTF and brand new Firecracker SLS) to my sod tray, as the 5-year-old Firecracker LS appears to no longer be alive according to my germination tests.
Mowed lower back and rest of low-input area (pulling weeds there as I mowed). Still at the highest setting on the mower (3.75 in) for the time being.
Sprayed Tenacity with NIS to kill any lingering grassy weeds on the rest of the portion of the main front that I plan to overseed.

Re: 2017: What did you do on your lawn today?
Lowered Height of last year's reno. Hit with Milo in prep for Aggressive Fall regimen. Thought I had fungus, but a little digging (literally) yielded grubs. Yuk. Got Dylox down and watered in.
Oh, also anguished over the slow pace of my current reno germination.
