Appears to be quack. Clasping auricles?

Looks similar to my quack but the clasping is the key. I painted mine with gly but I'm going to pull my others, too much collateral damage with the glysophate

Better not to pull or you may end up many more quacks in the future.

No. Lots of posts talking about this nasty weed grass. Use search feature. Only thing that works is glyphosate. Pulling doesn't work can make the problem worse. Their is one specialty herbicide that works but is not for the average homeowner.

Not sure that you have quack. I looked for the claw like auricle and unless I missed it, it ain't there. Does it grow really fast in comparison to the other turf? Is it a pale green?

Re: Another is this quackgrass or another weed question
The images posted dont show enough features to do a positive id. Just auricle is not enough since annual ryegrass also has it. The third picture on the left near the thumb seems to show a midrib, which should not be on quack. The key features are explained here: https://turf.purdue.edu/tool/instructio ... ctions.htm
OP: Without better pictures of all the key features, all you will get is random guesses. Even with better pictures, it will still be a calculated guess.

G-man zooming in on my picture I took with my phone it does indeed have a midrib. What does that tell you?
