Sprint 138 Nitrogen Requirements

Post by Leifcat1 » July 11th, 2017, 10:08 am

Greetings,

I'm thinking about purchasing some (generic) Sprint 138, which is a 6% eddha iron chelate. I know that it's a pricier compared to other forms of Iron, but I like the fact that it shouldn't stain my driveway like some other iron products.

The label states "iron uptake may be increased when .1 lb of ammoniacal nitrogen is added per thousand sq. ft."

I have ammonium sulfate (21-0-0) in my possession. Will the ammonium sulfate be sufficient? If so, how much should I apply per thousand sq. ft in conjunction with the iron?

Thank you in advance!
