Feed store urea
Be careful when purchasing urea from feed stores. The one I went to only sells it in the consistency of sugar granules. I called to get the bigger pellets but they don't stock it and won't buy it in small quanties. I may have to travel a bit.

Re: Feed store urea
That sounds a lot like ammonium sulfate. I've never seen urea sold in that consistency.

The kind I found online last year was small like that. I just mixed it with some milo when putting it out and it worked out great.

Re: Feed store urea
Yeah I would agree. Was it sold/labeled as urea?

Re: Feed store urea
I’m still trying to understand why this is a problem...
I’ve used the finer-grade agricultural stuff for years without any problem. You just need to adjust your spreader to deal with it.
So what’s the problem?

Re: Feed store urea
I personally find the bigger easier to spread. Just a matter of opinion I guess. Plus side it would break down easier being so fine.

Re: Feed store urea
I just picked up a bag from Belle Mead Co-op. Big pellet size. $22.99.
