Interesting Weed and Feed product

I generally do not agree with the use of weed and feed products, since the granular herbicides aren't very effective, and come at a high price environmentally.

However, I noticed this year (maybe it's been around prior) that Scotts has a liquid weed and feed product that contains 3 AIs as you'd expect in a quality 2,4-D based product. And here's the cool part...it has urea triazone in it. That's the slower acting version of foliar applied urea, which I believe TruGreen uses.

Under certain circumstances, this product could be very useful for Fall blanket treatment of certain weeds. If you know what you're doing, it should perform pretty well as the first level of the Triangle approach, assuming you've fertilized a few weeks before and the weeds are actively growing.

Personally, I'd ditch the hose-end sprayer, and tank mix it myself, though. Just a potentially cool (new?) product I saw that makes me rethink my aversion to weed and feeds...
