Almost feels like the Milwaukeeans have been on some high sugar diet.

Yeah, I thought the smell was different on the new bags. I have two of the old bags that still say "organic" on them, the new bags don't have that on them.

Also, milo, or vitamin M as Andy likes to state, is back on sale at Farm and Fleet.

I bought 6 bags today, 36 lbs per bag, labeled organic nitrogen, 6-4-0. $12.89 a bag, but that seems to be the price here.

That seems to be pretty much the usual big box store price here in NJ

Menards in Illinois has 6.99 a bag plus 11% rebate. Brings it to 6.22 a bag. I loaded up yesterday.

I assume you had another local retailer that was selling for less in order to price match like that, because when I tried it once, they said it had to be a local retailer that had it in stock. Btw, I noticed the latest bag I got smells kind of sweet as well...almost like the fake blueberry scent used in some things. And that's the bag itself, unopened. Maybe it's the plastic. Batch was dated 10/6/17 and analysis is 5-4-0 (but is probably actually at least 5.5% N, if not 5.7% N).

At Fleet Farm, five 36-lb. bags for $30 yesterday here in the Twin Cities of Minn-e-soooota, where it hit 70s on Monday though we are still in the snowiest April on record (and I believe the most snowfall Jan-April on record as well).

Family Farm and Home in Michigan has it on sale for $8.99 in their ad this week. Lowes and Home Depot sell it for around $12 or $13.

A manager at a farm and fleet in Illinois said they are discontinuing carrying Milo and that it will be replaced with a generic. They are sold out or have very limited stock at all the locations near me. Same limited or zero stock with Menards and Lowes, in my town at least (though I don't know their long term plans). I wonder what's the story on this. HD has it for about $13 a bag. I'll have to scale back if that's my only option now.

Yep, milo is sold out at my area F&F... it's on sale too! :sigh:

Lowes is very limted stock, HD has 50+... Menards has changed to a product called Ideal EQ Natural Lawn Fertilizer which is 4-3-0. Also says there is iron, not sure how much. Made in Eau Claire, WI, according to the brochure online.

I can still get milo at my local Site One, but not sure about price. May have to end up going to whatever F&F replaces it with, or go to this Ideal EQ stuff, even though it's priced at $10.97 a bag. I'll have to start watching for sales, if any.

I got Milo this season from a big box retailer (unnamed). Manager said they do not have a price match garauntee, which is posted on their website. After a resolution, $3.81 a bag after tax. Once I figured the price per bag my comment was, “I’ll take every bag you have in stock.” Two pallets worth. 112 bags.

Went to buy it at my local farm and feed store today, not for $14.99 a bag.
