What is this stuff?

Post by Maizan24 » March 30th, 2018, 6:31 pm

Comes up every year around this time in just one section of my lawn which is maybe a 5x5 ft area give or take. Comes up in bunches of thick waxy blades. Have never been able to figure out what it is. Any guesses?

Do they flower? Looks like it could be crocus.

Think I'll do a little test and just leave one of the patches alone and see what comes up. Thanks for the suggestion. This has been bugging me for years.

I can’t really see in this picture very well, but maybe Star of Bethlehem?

This would be my guess as well. I had a patch of that a few years ago and it looked very similar. I dug mine out completely and it hasn't returned.
