Question on herbicide and fungicide storage

Post by Pway » November 12th, 2018, 3:58 pm

I have a sprayer with about 1.25 gallons of Dithiopyr mixed, another with about a gallon of Mesotrione mixed, another with about a gallon of azoxystrobin mixed. I believe the label for the latter says only mix what you will use at that time. Bad planning on my part. Can I store these in the cellar where they won’t freeze or should I properly dispose of them? Any guidance is appreciated.

Follow the labels about recommendations. Some things can be stored, others can't - it's all about what happens to the AI in a diluted state. Some are stable, and some degrade very quickly.

Thanks Andy. I think the strobin can’t be stored. I’ll double check the other labels but my recollection is that they didn’t specifically address the issue. Might be wrong, though!
