Put seed down this morning. 10,000 sq. ft. Bewitched.
Awesome, good luck! Post some photos to show the progress if you find time to do so.

I cored aerated and over seeded some sections of lawn in good shape.

Tomorrow I’ll too dress and seed some rougher areas.

The following day I’ll powerseed the mess of the front yard.

Lots to do and hoping for a better season in 2020 with what I’m learning here.

Double cut, applied DAP. Fall growth picking up. Cooler evenings. More regular natural rainfall. Need to backlap for fall and trim. Fall sports and school are back in session.

@HoosierLawnGnome - How much DAP did you apply? Will you apply any more this fall? Thanks.

I have 2 kids in school and a school teacher wife, so lots of change around the house heading into fall.
I put out about 100 lbs. Less than 2 lbs per K.

Yeah I'll put more out until Octoberish. It has slow release so I give it a few weeks.

Had 14 zone irrigation system installed... yard looks rough from all that construction, but well worth it!

Thanks for the reply. I will work towards getting down about 150 lbs of MAP in the next week.

In the last two days: Scalped and raked the lawn. Applied Milorganite at 1/2 bag rate. I applied Borax and SOP. Applied 1 cubic foot compost per K, used a drag to level it out, and applied Mazama Bluegrass seed as overseed.

Cut the grass super short...raked up much of the lawn (back breaking work)...dropped northern elite mix from seedsuperstore at rate between 3-5lb depending on spot, the stuff that was really barren got more, covered much of the bare spots with peat moss, set to water as per overseed instructions. Now all that's left is to keep fingers crossed this overseed works. Last leg of my journey to restore the lawn after the massive damage from last August done by grubs.

I may actually be seeing the "shedding" for the first time (on a large scale) right now. That has to be what this is...I thought it was due to my dull mower blade or was drought stress or fungus. It may be all of the above.

2 days ago we finally got a nice rain so I applied my Labor Day fertilizer before it started.

I have 2 mini reno's going.
My first area use to be a perennial garden, I planted 8/13 and it started to germinate in 4 days! (Pennington)
That area was fallowed all summer so it was down to dirt. Seeded, threw some peat moss and a little milo.
It is coming along nicely.
I'm thinking it may be coming out of the "pout" stage now.

My second area, planted about 10 days ago, started to germinate in 6 days. (Scotts)
This area was loaded with spurge, so I pulled out as much as I could, overseeded and also threw peat moss and milo on top.
The green babies are peeking up even through some of the spurge that was left.

Sprayed Dimension on Poa Annua prone places as well as the brick patio and walk. Sprayed Tenacity on nimblewill in a couple remote places in the yard. Used My4sons backpack sprayer and love it.

The kids woke us up early so I’ve had the impact sprinklers running since about 5am to supplement the .2” of rain we got yesterday. I’ll give the lawn a nice drink today/tomorrow morning to water in my second urea app of the aggressive program and the dimension 2ew app I sprayed yesterday.

Yesterday, dropped the deck to 3”. Earlier in the week applied fourth dose of “fall regimen” Urea. Avg. first frost is September 11th. It will be late though. Overnight lows in the 40’s for next 10 days. For the last two years first frost has been a couple weeks past average.
