Mowed yard and weeded flower beds...time to pull kbg plugs from flower beds and transplant somewhere. Cut down. A mostly dead crepe myrtle...if it's worth anything it will send up new shoots. Next up... service the tractor and swap on fresh blades already.

Ha, I should have been more specific. 2 hydrangeas, one will be blue and the other pink. My better half wanted to do this, so Not a gender reveal, but if needed not a bad idea if one can wait that long lol.ken-n-nancy wrote: ↑May 18th, 2019, 7:06 pmWell, which is it -- is what you applied going to turn them pink? Or, is it going to turn them blue?

The hydrangea that we have must be growing in a spot with a balanced pH, as in recent years, some of its blooms have been blue, some have been pink, and some have kind of been in-between!

Re: 2019: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
I haven't very active in the forums due to family and work demands, but have been keeping up with my lawn plan. Yesterday, put down 80lbs of 10-10-10 front and rear yard (10lbs/k). Spot sprayed for weeds with Ortho WBG. My main fight now is grassy weeds and hit these with Triclopyr every 2 weeks in April, but things are generally looking pretty good.

Not my lawn, but I pulled a bunch of weeds in my garden.

Mowed, spread pinedust pellets, and spoon fed some Urea on the plug zones of my front yard to get some more fill in.

Applied Tenacity to a myriad of stubborn weeds as well as some grassy weeds. Watered trees.

Gave it a mow. Still at 2.5". Pulled a little poa annua. Gonna do a milo app and a humic acid/molasses app in a day or two. Giving everything a chance to dry out.right now, still looking a bit "fungusy" beneath the green. Clear skies and windy, should help. Did SLS a few days ago.

Re: 2019: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Mowed this morning. (last mowed was on Monday). Bagged the clippings this time.
Put my fertilizer in the spreader so it would be ready when the rain arrived.
Saw on the radar at 3PM light rain approaching.
Went out and dropped the fertilizer, then dropped SOP. Just in the knick of time.
A nice gentle rain started as soon as I finished and continues as I post.
Sometimes things just work out perfectly!

Top dressed the entire lawn with 17 bags of peat moss..... (might have overdone it)
Hopefully helps with OM% as it breaks down.

I had some leftover Mancozeb and sulfur in my backpack sprayer and sprayed about half my yard with it. I had been spraying my grapes.

Blanket sprayed tenacity in the renovation areas, spot sprayed anything it would hurt in the yard, battled lots of sedge grasses, hit some areas with milorganite that need a little extra help

Mow 17 down, we’re getting a ton of rain and I’d rather mow more versus rake clumps
