My car is covered in ice and the doors are frozen shut. I went out to check it when it was 0F this morning. The grass is the least concern right now. But I did manage to get rid of every last leaf before the snow and ice. The snow will protect it from cold damage.

I wonder if the soil heat helps the players too.

Sure, it would not make them feel like hitting on icy bricks when they fall down.

It was -1 here this morning, two days later we will be getting 1 inch of rain, then Friday low will be 3F, pretty wild stuff.
