We have some very early stage blooming going on as of today in my neighborhood in Inland CT. Nowhere near full bloom yet, and only one or two bushes in full sun.
5 days later, I saw a bush in near full bloom today, about 1/4 mile away. Hoping to start pre-M late this week.

I'd say about 10% bloom in S.E. Mass with a lot of rain on the way, going to look for a window to get my pre-m down this week.

Only buds on the forsythias around here. Rain tonight and expected again Sunday night.
My luck, when they deceide to bloom we will be in a drought. :banghead:
My notes from last year says April 24th was when they bloomed

Seeing yellow in Bristol RI. Being near the water skews the data point here. But ya, I'd call it April 11th.

I'm spraying Prodiamine for the first time ever this year. I got the first of two spring apps down last weekend and was blessed with .6 inches of rain the following day. So yay!

Another 4 days, and pretty much full bloom. Not so much blooming in the next town Northwest of us.

I started to notice slight blooming down by the shore in CT about a week ago, call it 4/7. At this point, 4/14, the forsythia in my yard in central CT are a few days away from being in full bloom. Temps have been in the 70's for the past 2 days with lows in the mid 50's over night, so the soil temp. has really responded. The grass has awakened and will need it's first trim this week.
