Mowed yesterday (Tuesday) again after a Sunday mow. At 4.25 inches and still think I just about broke the 1/3 rule two days later! Top growth is on fire this spring.

Here is my north / south cut:

Those of you who read my long thread on very very extensive grub dama (sleepless in Rexford) will know what I started with this spring. Remarkable turnaround even though this is probably a 2 year reclimation and slow repair but. Even before grub damage grass was very weak. I know I have dead zones that will be reseeded in August but I'm over the moon.

All this clover and crab grass looks pretty good when it is freshly mowed. :lol:

IMO nothing beats nice evenly mown 30"+ wide striped anything. Looks great
