Weed identification

Hello! I’m new to this site. Over the last couple yrs I have gotten more involved with landscaping, lawn care, shrubs, flowers etc.
For my initial post, can anyone help identify this weed? It grows in patches and the stem is long and narrow with a seed head at top. It is also a bunch grass and sometimes has maroon/red stems.
