Prodiamine and spot seeding
Just a quick question regarding spot seeding and using Prodiamine. I have some areas I need to re seed in a couple of weeks due to some damage from some trucks when I had some big Pines taking down. My plan is to re seed those areas on August 10th and then the following week (August 17) spray the entire yard with Prodiamine (for Poa annua control) staying away from the newly seeded areas.
The question is - how far way should I stay away from the new seeded areas with the Prodiamine?
Will the Prodiamine leach to the seeded areas if I get too close?
My thinking is to stay away at least 2 feet from the seeded areas.
I have always used the granular version (Barricade) in the past but I thought I could control the liquid version much better for staying away from these new seeded areas.
Thanks

Re: Prodiamine and spot seeding
2ft is good. Runoff is the only thing I'd consider. Just water it in slowly.

Re: Prodiamine and spot seeding
Prodiamine won't move much in the soil. If you are spraying and careful, you can theoretically spray right up to the edge of the seeded area, but... I would leave a 1-2 foot space like suggested.
