Spreading Borax to lawn
Hi,
I need to apply Borax at 3 tablespoons/1k and wondering on the best approach. So if my lawn is 10k, do I simply dump a bag of milorganite and 30 tablespoons of Borax into a wheel barrow, mix, pour into the spreader and spread away?

I don't see a soil test for you that calls for a Boron application. Am I missing it?

Re: Spreading Borax to lawn
Sorry, I'm just very cautious about Boron applications. The line between necessary amounts of Boron and toxic levels of Boron is pretty small, and Boron should not be applied on a regular basis for years without checking the levels with a soil test periodically. It's a scenario of "a tiny bit is good, but too much is bad".Although not necessary for answering the question at hand...

I totally get that. I just saw legacy's question as very specific and based on the axiom of needing to apply Borax. We all appreciate you looking out for our best interests and erring on the side of caution.
P.S. I've never posted a soil test here, but I'd like to think you all would trust me enough to give a straight answer if I had been the one to post this question. With my lawn boron numbers often coming in at "<0.2" (slightly better in the woods and wetlands), I can confidently say that I'll be applying boron for a very long time...well, that is, if I can ever get back to applying micronutrients. Kids.
