Tool of Choice When Over-Seeding
I can't think of what is the proper sub forum for this...
I'm a tool whore. In the gardening world, I got a slew of ARS secataurs, mix of Felco and Bahco loppers, etc. LOL, even have the Milwaukee backpack sprayer.
Anyhow, if I'm re-seeding small patches, all I'm doing is using a hand cultivator just to loosen up the top surface a smidge.
What tools are you guys using for said task. I've been thinking about buying a Garden Weasal for this task, but the more pratical side is telling me it will just take up space and will have little ROI

Re: Tool of Choice When Over-Seeding
I bought a Garden Weasel last year and have used it a few times.
I like the Groundskeeper rake (narrow tines) for when I have to overseed. Doesn't take a lot of effort to pull out the dead stuff with it.

I have a Groundkeeper . I never have tried that as in my head, the tines may have too much *give* and and not stiff enough to just loosen the top surface. I use it mainly for thatch but my primary use is actually working the mulch in the flower beds

I think a good set of nuts goes a long way when working in the lawn. Best tool you can have as most people I’ve run across always want my lawn but don’t want to put in the effort. Pardon my French
