What should I do next?

Hi all,
Overseeded with KBG mix from SSS 4 weeks ago. Using a reel mower twice a week to mow, (Lost 5 lbs so far :) ). Watering 3-4 times lightly per day. Seed is coming up as SE Mass weather has been ideal this year for Fall planting. I put down Lesco Starter when I seeded. My plan is as follows, but looking to see if you agree or have other opinion. Thank you!

Sept 14: Another app of Starter
Oct 12: 25-0-6 or is that too aggressive for the new seedlings and time of year in SE Mass?
Nov 30th (typically Thanksgiving weekend): 46-0-0 Urea Again, is this too much for the new grass? I usually put it down this weekend as top growth has stopped.

Sounds like you're doing wel!
On KBG you want it to emerge from sprout n pout before synthetic feedings. That gives the roots time to develop.

And you may want to start backing off watering now that you have widespread germination and head to less frequent, deeper waterings to encourage said root growth as well.

Then frequent, light feedings of N until first frost. KBG will eat that up.

Dont forget the follow up Tenacity app at 4 week at the 4 OZ PER ACRE (very tiny amount its per acre not K), and get a real pre emergent like prodiamine down at 60 days.

Nice post . I put down tenacity but based on reading this , once I’m germinated and somewhat growth , I can put down pre-m , just it’s a bit later than wanted for areas where I am put new seed

Thanks Hoosier. I did not know about Tenacity at day 60. Aslo, when you say light, frequent N, I assume you mean non-coated, maybe 46-0-0 at 1lb/k?

Reread my post re: Tenacity and a real pre emergent, two different things.

Yeah, like urea 46 0 0. Water it in.
