Procare 4-3-0 at Lowes

Post by Aviator8 » September 14th, 2019, 9:13 pm

There has been no Milorganite in my local box stores all year. Today I went in and saw Lowes had Milorganite in the smaller 32 bags at $14.97. Right next to it was a new fert I haven't seen that was comparing itself to Milorganite. 36lb bag at $12.47

Does anyone have any experience with this one?

I requested an account and they are down the road from me. I cant see the price without an account though. It does state this though:
Item not available in your selected branch and cannot be added to cart. Please call the branch at 770-442-8881 for substitute items.

Thanks for the source which may have better rates. I'd still like to hear from any with experience with the Competing Procare product.

I used a bag of the Pro-Care from lowes this summer and the off brand one from Menards as well. My yard has good OG numbers, no Ph problems, and no iron deficiency. I suspect there are minimal differences between them and Milorganite. They worked great and my lawn has very good color with them. These products feel, look and smell the same as Milorganite. I've decided it is a matter of convenience and they are interchangeable.

Always call the local branch the website if you don’t have an account won’t be area specific.

In my case if I want Milo then siteone is basically my only local source. It’s hard to find most of the year.

They carry the professional labeled 50 lb bags which have slightly more N & P
