overseed - tenacity bleached seedlings

Post by onionGrass » September 27th, 2019, 8:25 pm

I went with a 5oz/A tenacity application prior to overseeding with TTTF and peat. this is day 9 after seed down. does the new grass usually survive this?

I might have lost a couple here and there but Yes it will survive . This is what mine looked like on first day of germination . I sprayed tenacity 4 days after seeding .

This is what that same area looks like now ( 28 days from germination) . The bleaching took about 10-14 days to green up .

When I was reading up on Tenacity, I thought Tenacity did not play well with Fescue.

The Tenacity label says it’s okay. TTTF can be 5-8 oz per acre, Fine fescue 5 oz
