I tried 2.5" 2 weeks ago, but alot of rain brought me back to 3". Had to bag it this time too. Too long and thick to mulch with good results.

Down at 2.5" right now from 3/3.5

Went from 4 to 3 this wknd. Had to mow twice

Down to 3" from 3.5" this summer.

Down to 2.75 and will leave it here for the rest of the season, have some unevenness around tress and other areas that if I drop lower tears up the lawn in a few spots. Also lowering any more doesn't help with trying to get leaves in there to mulch, Deer kind of just drags a big pile around LOL.
