I meant dew point will be 70.
Of course I woke up to light rain falling this morning and apparently has been all night. :banghead:
Of course, I didn't put down anything.
I'm starting to have a headache now.... :tease:

Mowed it. I noticed a dark sap green and sepia rock in the lawn while mowing that suddenly moved as the mower approached it. This is slightly unusual. Rocks usually only do that after I lick a lot of special stamps.

So it turns out that the toad crop is really good this year. I put him in the bushes and kept mowing.

Ran out of space for any more experiments on 1+ acres today, so I took over the wraparound porch. Wife doesn't know whether to be curious or annoyed. I'm counting on the Grace Hopper theory of Permission vs Forgiveness. Pray for me.

Mowed. Dug a hole out front, preparing to plant an Eastern Redbud and in another location a Yoshino Cherry Tree tomorrow.

So, I deceided to go ahead and drop Milo on Friday expecting rain later in the day.
Of course it went all around us, of course.
I was glad I didn't go with the synthetics after all.
However, yesterday.....after a morning of high humidity and high temps,
The heavens finally opened up.
At times a little too much
My garden mulch was floating into the lawn and driveway.
After all was said and done, rain meter showed 1/2".
I'm ok with that although I wonder if synthetics would have been ok
Today cooler, nice breeze, no humidity, and the lawn is loving it.
oh and by the way, the post I said no ant hills in the lawn.........
ignore it.
They're baaaaaaaaaaaack and they bite! :banghead:

Mowed today. Had to double cut...Honda hrr216..love the mower but grass was pretty high...at 3.5 HOC mower tends to leave to many stragglers for my liking. Then I dropped my first molasses app. Man that stuff is sticky!! Are you supposed to water it in after?

Serenade.

Was gonna cut first but the mower is acting up. Might need to check a carb for the first time. Still troubleshooting.

Don't cut your lawn with a pulsing engine...ugh.

Collected and shipped samples for soil testing. Laid down fungicide for the first time ever. Redid my irrigation schedule for deep infrequent watering. Skipped mowing this week.

2nd app of Humic DG before watering 1/2".
I want to trim and cut, but this heat...worried about brown tips.
Maybe an evening mow later this week.
