Mowed front yard and applied KH. Back yard bluegrass starting to grow nicely. Not mowing it yet. Heard long range weather...below average temps through end of May. I have a bad feeling Poa Annua and Triv will be around well into summer if the Annua even dies or the Triv goes dormant!! Aaarrgghh!!!!

First nitrogen on a couple friends lawns. Along with epsom, micros, calcitic lime, KH, and iron. About 6k sqft total.

Small 800 sqft backyard reno for relative. Tenacity. Soil moist seed coat. No starter. Just SoP. Rolled it in nice. Ran out of peat so back tomorrow.

6 hrs. Back and hamstrings are trashed.

I mowed yesterday (fiskars manual reel mower).

Today, I mixed and sprayed 2 gallons of repels all on the part of my lawn with mouse/vole infestation. The ingredient list is putrescent egg solids, garlic, cloves. It smells about the way tired expect, although once it dried, I didn't really notice it. I also put out string for a couple odd my hop bines to climb (I'm going to let some go because I don't care about them and I'll let some climb the fence.

Mowed yesterday at 3 inches. Wanted to keep it 2.5 but the growth has been amazing this spring. I'll get it back to 2.5 in a couple of days. We had a mild winter with minimal snow load. This is the healthiest my lawn has been in four years at this point in the season. It's thick, green and no bare spots.

Dropped SOP along with Boron.

Ugh!!! Screwed up today doing a soil-based application that needs watering in, and a foliar-based application that needs time before there is any watering. Doh!! Need to find a balance, or I'm going to pay. This is what happens when you try to get too much done in a very-compressed Spring. I should have planned better, but winging-it has me in a bad place...

Had applied Weed b Gon x 2.
So yesterday I applied CCO.
The lawn really needs N but I need rain and mother nature is not cooperating. :banghead:
We had a quick thunderstorm with torrential rain last Friday but I
figured anything I put down, N or Milo, would have probably washed away.
No rain expected for the rest of the week.
With all the cold weather this month, the grass didn't grow that much.
Very Disappointing.

Living next to a much easier to acquire food source like hundreds of acres of corn and soybeans.

We get some deer traffic, but they dont hang out long. This winter one cleaned off my rosebuds.

Had this other day:

4th mow. Brought it up to 3.5".
Will likely keep it there for a couple weeks before bumping it up to 4".

Note to Self: Do not drop soybean meal if rain may prevent you from mowing for nine days...

Maxed the deck at 4 inches and still cut over half the blade length.

A little extra dose of BLSC before doing my first weekly watering.
Maples dodged four mows, but their days are numbered.
