Seed Storage - Breath or Not ?

Post by mobiledynamics » January 29th, 2020, 7:21 pm

I've got a chamber vac ----for food stuff.
For storing leftover seed, does it need to be in a cool dry place with some level of non-airtighness to breathe/vent/etc. Kinda like storing Spring Bulbs ?

Or is it better if I just vac seal them in a bag ?

This is a really good question.

I only have anecdotal evidence to offer, but my Bewitched seed in clear plastic--taped shut--lasted longer than my other KBG seed in woven, white breathable plastic.
