Switch to Prodiamine?

Post by ronfitch » March 23rd, 2020, 2:00 pm

Hi all,

A fresh inch of wet snow on the ground this morning has me looking to spring (it should be gone by 5 p.m.).

I have been using Halts granular w/o fertilizer (pendimethalin) for at least the past five or six years, in the Spring and again in the Fall.

Doing some reading on this forum about prendimethalin vs. prodiamine vs. dithiopyr before buying (like this one, viewtopic.php?t=21870).

Is there any advantage or issues with switching over to a 0-0-7 prodiamine (found some that is listed at 0.38 %)?

I will stick with granular. Can get either shipped to me.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
