2nd Pre-M Application Timing and Dose - Fall overseed/Reno

Post by bryankloos » May 8th, 2020, 6:55 am

Hey All,

I'm planning my second Pre-M application and wanted to get thoughts on timing and application.
My first app of Prodiamine went down 3/22 at 0/6 oz/K.
I was planning on applying Dithiopyr on 5/15.

I plan to do rull reno on a couple small areas of the lawn this Fall (removing playset, leveling a sunken stump, etc) and would avoid those areas with this app. I may also want do a overseed of the entire lawn depending on how things go this season. So, I guess I need to understand dosage for full overseed vs no overseed and avoiding the small areas for reno. Lastly, I'd like to get a final application of PreM down in the fall to help with the winter annuals that I am currently treating.

Questions:

1. Is the dithiopyr next week a good idea? If so at what rate assuming I want to globally overseed vs go straight to the last Fall PreM app.
2. When is the general time for Fall PreM application?
3. What product would be best for Fall PreM application?

Thanks,

Bryan
